Light and Shade

We are but made of light and shade,
Our whole life moves from side to side,
We seek a balance all the time,
Intention moves us on our way.

Go deep within uncharted parts
Of soul and mind, to find your Truth.
Reveal and work with darker ties,
Let go these mind sets with new eyes.

Breathe out your fears, breathe courage in,
Love and re-shape to now begin,
A race to overcome the past,
Illusion most, that could not last.

Be present now for all you do,
This energy will bear you true,
Use laughter as a saving blend,
It smoothes the edges in the end.

Find time to put yourself to rights,
Avoid debilitating fights,
Of physical, emotional,
Preferring the devotional!

Just standing still to take that breath,
Could save you from an early death,
If you love life, begin again,
Your choice can never be the same.

Unwrapping the petals of your heart,
Should give you now a better start,
Be more discerning, full of care,
A lesson how to walk on air.
