Its
value and purpose
Yoga is multifaceted, it is a way of life encompassing all aspects
of the Soul/Body/Mind on its journey.
The aim of the physical aspect of Yoga, in all its many disciplines,
is to bring purity to the nervous system of the body and to attain
purity of the heart. Purity allows love, and love leads to devotion.
The teachings of yoga are beyond all divisions of time and space
and can never become a monopoly of cult or creed.

Hatha Yoga and all styles of yoga create body awareness whilst concentrating
the mind in asana practise.
These postures enable the harmony of movement between the mind and
the slow, natural rhythm of the body to induce a balanced state.
The natural breathing reflected in the body rhythm is called Pranayama,
and helps us to reach the level of consciousness on which we can
perceive with our minds and feel with our hearts the Unity of Being
itself. We will know and feel how this is so.
These exercises create suppleness, vitality and wellbeing, in addition to strengthening the body-mind.
Prana. Pra- means forth, and the verb root
an means "to breathe." It is the Life force that permeates
every living thing and supports our very existence, it is the active
power producing all vital phenomena.
Yoga provides the doorway to the inner world of mankind to find
our inner purpose, this in turn is reflected outwards as the key
to understanding the truth of our being, and life path.
I teach Qigong, Thai Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini back exercises
and Kriya breathwork, Mantra chants and Meditation, Mudras for health
and wellbeing, Dowsing earth and subtle body energies, and Quantum
Healing.
